In addition to being Greenpoint’s only dedicated Omakase (Japanese chef's tasting) restaurant, U offers a unique dining experience that breaks from traditional counter service. Named after its U-shaped table, U offers communal seating for 13 guests to encourage diners to come in groups, alone or in a pair.
We source only the freshest ingredients to create a seasonal chef’s tasting menu. Our mission is to explore local, high quality provisions brought directly to U, along with a global sake program to accentuate dishes.
